By winning a World Summit Award (WSA) in e-Inclusion & Empowerment, from Slovakia is recognized as being one of the most innovative, technically advanced and perfectly designed e-content products worldwide. competed against 461 outstanding ICT ventures and applications from 168 countries. The products were tested from Aug. 29 to Aug. 31 in Estonia’s capital city, Tallinn, and was selected as one of the 40 best ICT ventures by the WSA Grand Jury. The jury members, 17 high class IT-professionals, are a team of e-content experts come from all continents and have diverse backgrounds as industry leaders, researchers, social entrepreneurs and journalists.

The project ( in Slovak) was initiated by the civic association eSlovensko as an integral part of the projects, and and as a significant prevention tool for implementation and propagation of safer use of the internet, mobile phones and new technologies. Target groups of the project Sheeplive are children and young people. For younger children the project acts as the prevention, for youth it wittily sets mirror of their inappropriate behavior on the Internet and the adult audiences gives an opportunity to learn and be amused. The project has two parts: cartoon series Sheeplive and internet portal had to go through several stages before the winning of the Award was pronounced. Each of the 461 ventures that made it to the Grand Jury had already won a national World Summit Award in its home country in one of the eight categories of the WSA.
